Tucson Airport Authority
Established by Arizona charter in 1948, the Tucson Airport Authority (TAA) is a unique statutory organization that operates Tucson International Airport (TUS), the region’s major commercial airport, and Ryan Airfield (RYN), a general aviation airport.
Encompassing more than 8,300 acres at TUS and more than 1,800 acres at RYN, the TAA’s airports have a combined economic impact of $7.4 billion annually, according to a 2018 study.
TAA’s corporate philosophy is to “Develop, operate and maintain the best professionally run aviation facilities providing our region with outstanding services to our customers, fiscally prudent management, exceptional economic development, and a highly productive and satisfied workforce that provides a positive first and last impression of TAA and our region.”
The TAA recruits and hires for openings within its organization, which includes positions in administration, operations, planning and development, custodial and police and fire.
